What TutorLink is
TutorLink is a marketplace connecting parents with independent home tutors. Tutors are not TutorLink employees — they set their own prices and availability. TutorLink verifies identity documents and a reference contact before a tutor's profile becomes visible, but this is not a guarantee of a tutor's teaching quality or a criminal background check beyond what's described in Security.md.
Payments
Payments are processed through Safepay. Funds are held until a booking is marked complete, at which point they're released for payout to the tutor, minus TutorLink's commission (lower for Premium tutors). Refund and dispute handling follows Safepay's standard processes for payment-level issues; booking disputes can be reported through the platform.
Accounts & verification
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including verification documents. Submitting false identity information is grounds for account suspension.
Reviews & conduct
Reviews must be tied to a real completed booking. Reviews can be reported for review by our team, and TutorLink may remove a review found to violate these terms.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is billed on a recurring basis through Safepay and can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
